Deck Equipment

Companionway washboards are varnished plywood, split into two, each can be secured at sea. Revarnished in December 2023. A washboard security lock is fitted.

S/S Pushpit each on the aft quarters with two S/S wire guard rails between them, both with quick release shackles.

S/S pulpit on the bow. Guard rails and stanchions. Guard rails have polyester quick release line connections aft.

Companionway hatch runners also can be used as a handrail on the cabin roof.

Very large cockpit locker on the starboard side, with padlock facility.

In the Starboard locker is a 70 litre fresh water tank (2023).

Cockpit access aft through a walkthrough in the transom. GRP transom gate available (currently not used).

2 x Harken Radial 35.2ST self tailing winches (2022) mounted on the coach roof for genoa.

1 x Harken winch handle, spare winch handle.

1 x Harken winch on mast for reefing.

Heavy duty fittings for jackstays. Jackstays (in need of replacement).

Cockpit winch handle holder.

Mainsheet purchase (8:1) secured with a cam cleat. Recent Marlow Ropes hi spec mainsheet.

Mainsheet track on cabin top just forward of the hatch. Line controlled with cam cleats. Recent control line replacement (2023).

Line controlled genoa sheet turning block tracks on side decks, Selden ball bearing cars and Barton turning blocks). Line controls to cockpit cam cleats. All installed 2021.

Original manufacture genoa tracks remain on the coach roof sides (not used), if required for easy cruising sails.

Halyard turning blocks at mast base.

Halyards for Mainsail (performance cruise grade), Genoa (Performance cruise grade) and a Spinnaker (braid on braid 10mm spliced and reducing to 8mm at the cockpit.

Two deck organisers near mast base leading aft to ports side 2 x halyard stoppers (Spinlock 2022) and Starboard side 3 x stoppers (Spinlock) for spinnaker control lines.

Genoa reefing control line stopper on port side.

Spinnaker pole uphaul/topping lift (2023).

Spinnaker pole downhaul with 2:1 purchase.

1 x  opening deck hatch on foredeck, weather seal replaced 2022.

Upgraded (replacement) S/S bow roller and stemhead fitting better suited for swinging mooring use.

Anchor locker at the bow. Delta/Plow type bower anchor with approximately 18m chain + 30m rope.

Spars:

Aluminium Mast, boom & Spinnaker Pole:- New Mast (2012), Mast was built to a higher racing specification with reinforcements around Spreaders etc) plus an extra cam cleat on the mast side for optional spinnaker halyard cleating.

New Boom, Selden specified by Allspars (2020). Features for three mainsail reefs, outhaul, kicker (control lead back to the cockpit to a cleat). 

Spinnaker pole with bridle.

Standing Rigging replaced in 2022.

Harken roller-furler (2012).

Adjustable backstay (Dyneema with polyester line adjust on camcleat).

Sails

Mainsail – approx’ 2019, Sanders, radial cut, special radial weave Dacron, three reefs. Good condition.  Mainsail cover of a similar age.

Spare mainsail – very old but useable as a temporary spare.

Genoa – approx. 2020, Sanders, radial cut, special weave Dacron, Good condition.

Spare Geona – Dacron. Higher foot for improved visibility.

Spinnaker S2 Reaching medium air symmetric, Quay Sails – estimated 2010 but in good condition, useful and perfectly serviceable.

Spinnaker S3 – Downwind, lighter air symmetric, Sanders – 2022, like new.

Spinnaker general purpose shape – Possibly quite old but perfectly usable, for light air cruising, conservative sailing and practice.

Engine and Propulsion:

Yanmar 2GM20 diesel, Shaft drive, regularly maintained. Featherstream 3 blade feathering propeller (refurbished in 2023. Recently replaced engine mounts (2019), injectors (2022) and Volvo shaft seal (2022). Exhaust Elbow replaced 2019. Cutlass bearing replaced in 2023. Max speed noted in flat water on the Log when using the engine was 6.4Kts. Engine is next scheduled to be serviced in December 2024.

Vetus cooling water strainer installed 2019.

Instruments/Electrical

Engine start battery, approximately 85 ah (2020) under aft cabin berth

Domestic battery, AGM, approximately 128 ah, (2022).

2 x battery switches. 1 x ArgoFET battery charge splitter (2024)

Small trickle solar charger system with regulator connected to the domestic battery.

Deck level Navigation lights, mast top tricolour light, deck light. Various interior lights.

Raymarine ST60 generation of cockpit instruments – Wind / Log / Speed / Depth. Tiller Pilot Autohelm 1000 (Tiller attachment).

Garmin Echomap plotter with 0183 data connection to VHF radio and 2000 network connection to Seatalkng instrument network. Charts updated late 2023.

Interior

GRP/Gelcoat ceiling liner in the cabins offers a fresh looking easy clean interior. Vinyl finish material on the cabins sides.

Saloon/main cabin  Settee/berths to port and starboard. Central table which is easily removable for storage on or off the yacht. Storage under the settee berths.

Forward in the saloon is a large forepeak berth which is made up to full length with a sliding extending shelf. Can be used as an adult double though more often a single. With shelf retracked then ideal for children. Storage under the berth.

Storage on open shelves to port and starboard above/behind settee backs. To Starboard is a sliding door eye level storage locker.

Cushions and upholstery last replaced in 2010 and are in reasonable condition, except the two saloon berth mattresses which were completely replaced in 2024.

Two strong vertical teak handholds installed in the central area of the cabin.

The interior varnish/brightwork has been refreshed in a number of areas to keep the interior looking tidy.

Aft cabin is a double width berth, a hanging locker to Port, a foot locker to port and storage under the berth. Rear access to the engine and gearbox available. Access to the Volvo propellor shaft seal is under the bunk.

In the hanging locker is a shore power consumer unit which supplies three sockets on various locations around the yacht. The shore power connection plug is located under the companionway steps.

Rear engine and propellor shaft access is provided from a removable panel and under the berth.

The fuel tank is located at high level behind a décor panel at the rear of the aft cabin. Full access to the tank is provided by removing the decor panel.

1 x Powder fire extinguisher in the aft cabin (expired).

1 x electric bilge pump.

Galley

Located to Port in the main cabin, an L shaped work area.

A gimbaled Origo Spirit stove with two rings (2017).

Stainless steel sink. Pressurized cold water on a single tap. Storage under work area surfaces and under the stove. Cold box installed under work surface.

A vertical handhold adjacent to the galley.

1 x Powder fire extinguisher (expired).

 Navigation Station

Two shelves under for misc’ navigation and safety equipment.

Electrical distribution panel with fuses and isolators. Cigar lighter type accessory socket (used for phone charging).

Marine VHF DSC radio (perfectly serviceable but with slight damage to the microphone cable).

Set to Starboard, lockable wooden door from main saloon.

Mostly easy clean GRP with gelcoat surfaces with a moulded shower tray.

Sink in a vanity unit with storage underneath.

Hanger locker (wet gear)

Pressurized cold water tap which also can be used as a shower handset.

Water pump systems are located in the under sink cupboard.
